Our Hotel

Hotel Mitus ( register HB003773 ) is a small hotel in Canet de Mar (in the coast of Barcelona – Maresme), just 50 meters away from a wonderful beach in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Mitus is located in the centre of Canet de Mar and surrounded by a familiar atmosphere. The hotel building dates from 1863 and has been recently renewed, though it preserves all the typical decorative details from the past and it combines them with the services and comforts of modern life.

The hotel has a living room – dinning room, a wonderful garden and a terrace exclusively for our clients, where you can have breakfast, lunch or a drink from our bar/restaurant service.
All the rooms are provided with TV, refrigerators , telephone, free wifi, air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. Each room has also got a small balcony with views to the sea or the garden. There are two rooms with a big private terrace and panoramic views.

The hotel offers the clients all kind of information regarding different activities organized in Canet or in the surroundings. The access to the beach is just in front of us, the train station is 200 meters away by foot and all restaurant and shops are very near too.

Canet de Mar is very well connected to Barcelona (40 km), so you will find it easy to combine city tours with the peace and beauty of the coast.Hotel Mitus is a familiar and charming hotel, ideal for holiday, weekends and friends, family or business stays.For companies or long-term stays, we offer special prices.

The building

Located in the urban center of Canet de Mar, our hotel stands out for being located in a building from 1863, recently renovated, where we have tried to preserve all the own and decorative elements of the time together with the current services and comforts. So you can enjoy a modernist atmosphere without losing the comfort of air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet access.

At Mitus we have a living / dining room, a magnificent garden and a terrace for the exclusive use of our clients, where they can have breakfast, lunch or a drink from our bar / restaurant service.

Rooms

All the rooms have been renovated in 2011.All the rooms are provided with a bathroom - some with a shower and some with a bathtub -, TV, telephone, free access to Internet - wifi-, and air conditioning -you can regulate the temperature as you wish-.All the rooms have a balcony o terrace with wonderful views to either the inner garden or the Mediterranean Sea. On the ground floor there are also some rooms that can be used by people with reduced mobility. Finally, we have also got our particular “suite” rooms with a 20 M2 terrace and panoramic views to the sea.

ROOM Nº 1

Room on the ground floor , ideal for people that don´t want to use steps, with bath,tv, fridge,wifi, telefon,air conditioned, this room is situated inthe entrance.

ROOM Nº 2

This is a small single room. The entrance is trougnt the garden, quiet due to their caractteristics. The room has bathroom with shower, tv, wifi, telephone, air conditioned...

ROOM Nº 3

Double room, on the first floor, with balcony with sea views, the room have all the services, bathroom with shower. Small but very comfortable and quiet.

ROOM Nº 4

Located in the first floor , with balcony and sea view. Is a twin room , bigger than nº 3 , there is posibility of 3st bed .The room have tv,telephone , free wifi , air conditioned and wc with shower.

ROOM Nº 5

Double room, in the first floor, the room have balcony with garden views, bathroom with shower and all the hotel services ( air conditioned, tv,fridge, telephone, wifi, etc.).

ROOM Nº 6

Double room, in the first floor, the room has a private terrace with garden views and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv,fridge , telephone, wifi,etc.) and a bathroom with shower.

ROOM Nº 7

Double room, in the second floor. The room have a balcony with sea views, a bathroom with a shower and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv, telephone, wifi,etc.).

ROOM Nº 8

Double room, in the second floor, bigger than the other ones wich means that there's the possibility of an extra bed. The room have a bathroom with shower, balcony with sea views and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv, telephone, wifi,etc.).

ROOM Nº 9

Double room, in the second floor. Like room nº 5, it's a bit small than the other ones. The room have balcony with garden and sea views, bathroom with a shower and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv, telephone, wifi,etc.).

ROOM Nº 10

Double room, in the second floor, bathroom with shower, balcony with garden and sea views and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv, telephone, wifi,etc.).

ROOM Nº 11

Double room, in the top floor, the biggest like room nº 12. The room have a big terrace (20m2) with garden, mountain and sea views, a bathroom with a bath and all the hotel services (air conditioned, tv, fridge,telephone, wifi,etc.)

Garden

Our small garden – we call it “eixida" -, is fresh and very Mediterranean. You will specially enjoy it during spring or summer, while having breakfast or lunch, drinking something or reading. You will also find the most beautiful hibiscus that you have ever seen or our very curious “Claveles del Aire” (Tillandsia Bergeri).

The beach and the environment

The incredible beach of Canet de Mar is next to a long promenade, which can take you by foot or bike to Arenys the Mar (the town next to Canet). You can also enjoy a nice walk in the Passeig de la Misericordia, a nice avenue that will lead you to the Sanctuary of La Misericordia, patron saint of Maresme (see more in Activities).
